Meet Dr. Bhatia, a Veterinarian with a passion for delivering exceptional care, Dr. Bhatia brings over 35 years of experience in Veterinary Medicine. His areas of expertise are small animal, internal medicine, Dermatology, emergency medicine, and critical care.
A graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine in PAU India (1986). He immigrated to Canada in 1997. With his expertise across different veterinary clinics in Alberta & Vancouver his unparalleled compassion for animals strived him to open Cypress St. Animal Hospital in 2002. While success and so many awards were thriving his way for more than 22 years, suddenly his health challenged him to take a break and retire from Cypress but his commitment and dedication brought him back in action and he started his practice once again in Richmond. Dr. Bhatia prioritizes continued education, completing 50-70 hours of professional development annually. Outside of work, he loves watching sports like Cricket, Field hockey, Ice hockey and also is a devoted follower of spiritual & religious themes.
Meet Dr. Joseph Martinez, our Lead Surgeon & Previous Owner of Little Paws Animal Clinic, Richmond, BC. A Veterinarian with 40+ years of experience with expertise in Exotic Pet Treatment/ Surgeries, Dental, Eye Surgeries & Internal medicine. He is passionate about exotic pets, rabbits as well as holistic medicine.
